Before visiting any museum with your children you have plenty of rules to consider: the exhibits must not be touched, no running, no pets, no noise or snacking. But not in Europos parkas! Here not only you can stroll along forest trails, meet strange characters, discover surprising artistic solutions and enjoy fresh air. Here children can run freely, squeal for their heart’s content and explore sculptures with their hands and sometimes feet! Only few sculptures are off limits as they are not adapted for such experiences and it can be unsafe, or they can be damaged.  

The exhibition of the Europos parkas consists of works of contemporary art. Often these works seem unexpected and surprising. It is difficult to understand their meaning at the first glance. But they stimulate the imagination, and to help with experiencing them, we offer some tips.

As you approach the artwork, think and discuss: what does it remind you of? How would you name it? Try and name it yourself before checking the descriptive table next to the work.

Observe the artwork from different angles: from very far and very close, from different positions - try to bend or crouch, look from below, go around. Portray or mimic the sculpture with your family.
