Museum of the Center of Europe EUROPOS PARKAS

Projects

We are implementing a project Creation of new digital and circular economy services to be provided by VšĮ Europos Parkas through investment in the infrastructure necessary for the development of CCI products.

The project aims to create new products and services that meet the principles of the digital and circular economy through investment in the infrastructure necessary for the creation of these services. The innovative solutions being implemented will allow the museum to create new digital and circular economy services and achieve a change in operational processes.

The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The project is expected to be completed by 31 August 2023.

Public Institution Europos Parkas is one of the first cultural industries in Lithuania, operating in the field of museums since 1993. The open-air museum welcomes visitors every day, all year round. Everyone can find here a refreshing space, useful for their inner development and growth.
The project will implement several attractive, innovative solutions, allowing the museum to create new digital and circular economy services and achieve a change in operational processes. The first solution is interactive spaces designed to enrich the visitor experience, creative workshops equipped with the latest digital technologies, and VR and video demonstration spaces for immersive education and experiencing the fascinating world of art. Digital outdoor info terminals and a talking smart bench will be installed to improve the visitor experience. The second solution will optimise the museum’s operations, customise the provision of services and create opportunities for independent, fast and simple purchase of the service and receipt of information.
The project activities will allow us to achieve significant results by using digital technologies and contributing to sustainable solutions at the museum and the promotion of the circular economy, while conveying a respectful attitude towards the environment – as one of the museum’s exhibits declares ‘treading gently on this earth’.
