About the artwork
In 2004–2005 the Massimo Ghiotti exhibition Matter-Tension-Form was held in Europos Parkas. 10 gigantic steel sculptures, weighing 10 tons or more were exposed. For his sculptures Ghiotti uses specific construction details with the potential possibility to move – springs, pistons, crane cutters. The sculpture Orient is the artist’s gift to the museum.
