About the artwork
Selim was representing Egypt in the Cairo Bienale, India Trienale, Egyptian art exhibitions in Rome, Paris; actively engages in sculpture symposiums. In Lithuania the artist recalled the myth about the first man and the first woman, about them being driven from Paradise. The portrait and the figure of a woman blend in the sculpture of clear and heavy forms.
