About the artwork
The 2,5 metre diameter and 250 kg weight (the weight of one crown) blue iron circle deliberately highlights the opposition between nature and culture. According to the author „the sky vault descending upon Europos Parkas creates the roof above our heads“. The tree is subdued, nevertheless leaving the freedom to grow and expand. The blue ring endues the tree with exclusiveness.
