About the artwork
Robert Passig is a US artist, painter, creator of installations.
Like Moths to the Light is one of the artist’s installations showcased at the Europos Parkas museum. It is created using white wire mesh, with moths – 400 of them – made from it fluttering around tree trunks at a height of 10 metres. At ground level, are large calla lilies painted with oil paint on black tulle. This installation is situated in a piece of the forest overgrown with birches and firs.
Other installations by this artist featured at Europos Parkas include Witness of Crows (2000), After the Last Rain, In the Shadows.
