About the artwork
Spowers hanging bronze tree bark castings was thinking of bark significance to the tree health: „A bark, as well as human skin, has a protective function; it is undoubtedly important. Every form is curved to imitate real bark and intention is to reassemble the bark to simulate a tree“.
