Nature and Uncanny
Kirke Kangro is an Estonian artist that stages exhibitions both in her home country and abroad.
At the open-air Europos Parkas museum she has created a work of art named Nature and Mysteriousness, which consists of replicated objects mirroring the shapes of parts of a tree, thus creating a surprising relationship between the work of art and the park nature around it.
The artist defines the term ‘mysteriousness’ as something that is familiar yet alien at the same time.
